Well what I'd do is have a regular monitor hooked up as your primary, then stick the TV on and through the nVidia control panel edit the TV settings in there. It may already have picture, but you may have to set it to extend your desktop onto it. While you're there, select it as your primary monitor, then say DON'T extend desktop on your other monitor, then you'll have the one primary monitor as the TV. Play around with the settings. This should work.

I have 2 monitors on my comp I unplugged the secondary and plugged in the DVI/HDMI cable and did the same with the primary!! but I didn't click on do not extend... I will give that a try but in anyways I should of seen a picture I don't thing the video card can differ if it's a projector TV or a VGA monitor!! Also for some reasons I don't have TV settings in the nvidia control panel Intel Q6600 Corsaire 2x1gb XMS2 GIGABYTE 965P-DQ6 BFG GeForce 8800 GTS OC 320 OCZ EvoStream 720w XP PRO

Make sure you're connecting the Sony AFTER the primary monitor is in there. It doesn't have to display anything until you tell the computer to extend its desktop onto it - most likely won't. After that's done, make sure you set the beast to the primary monitor, and then tell the comp to make the other monitor not to extend, so you can unplug it and voilla, your TV is now your main computer monitor. This should work... If not even in the CP, do it in Windows Display Properties (right-click desktop, Properties, Settings tab - just incase).
