Default BFG Trade Up Program

The BFG Trade Up Program is designed to give our valued customers a one time opportunity to upgrade their current BFG graphics card to a more recently released BFG graphics card and only pay the difference in cost (plus any applicable taxes).

This program only applies to BFG graphics cards launched after February 21, 2008. This program may not be available to all customers, and rules/restrictions may apply.

I wonder if BFG's "100 Calendar Days" sends a message to EVGA saying that their trade up program lasts 10 days longer than theirs.

WOW! Nicely done BFG!
Now if AMD/ATI card makers will get with the program and at least offer lifetime warranties we'll be getting somewhere...
Visiontek does offer lifetime warranties on their cards, but that's it. Looks like if you want dedicated customer service and support it's nVidia or nVidia.

EDIT:
Just to clarify some stuff, the 100 days is from the date on the invoice and you have to have registered your card within 30 days of your purchase...
Quote:
You have 100 calendar days from the date on your invoice or receipt to participate in the program. After 100 days, your card will no longer be eligible for Trade Up.

You must have registered your card within 30 days of the date on the invoice or receipt in order to be eligible for the Trade Up Program.

i like how they planned this out for the 9800GX2, is this a sign all these retailers dont think this card'll sell well?

With this price tag and ho-hum performance? Possibly.

ROFL. Check out EVGA's response to BFG's 100 day step up program. EVGA is offering a 120 day step up program now. Twenty days more than what BFG is offering. Which now begs a question: will we see a battle of one-ups-manship with the step-up program between EVGA and BFG?
