Default BFG Ageia PhysX Physics Card

Without question, one of the hottest topics throughout the industry this year has been the advent of the discrete physics processor or "PPU" (Physics Processing Unit). Developed by a new startup company called Ageia, this new physics processor gives game developers the opportunity ...

Still too early for me, they need to get more support from the game makers.

Yes. I like the idea of extra physics but so far there is only a handful of games. I've tried GR:AW and I hated the way it played. The gameplay was a bit to slow for me. That graphics weren't very nice either on my 6600GT. I'll probably give it another run with a newer graphics card or something. Ageia can seriously make physics card a big successful if they play their hands the right way.

I've been playing GR:AW and the physics are damn good on my Pentium D. With the PPU i can only imagine.....

On the demo, I can play on the maximum settings the demo can allow. It looks pretty sweet and as Ranger said, the physics are damn good.

Isn't it just plain ol' awesome when you blow up a truck/APC with a grenade launcher? Or shoot the doors off with guns?

Yeah man it's a rush, or when you throw a grenade to flush out a guy standing behind boxes, the boxes like splinter into pieces. Also shooting helos out of the sky with the AT rocket. The one part where you blow up the fuel truck, there's sooo much physics, the scene did feel a bit jittery.
