| He is Currently gaming on an Emachiene T5026 Here is some system info on his computer: eMachines Support: Product Support and Downloads He has a spare PCI-Express slot and doesent have much money so this was the best I could grouge up: Newegg.com - Recertified: ATI Radeon X700PRO 100-437402 Video Card - OEM For the price this card seems to be worth every penny. I am not a graphics card expert but this card looks very solid to me. I like... 1.The fact that is 8 PixelPipelines 2.256mbGDDR3 3.The fan on it looks like it will work very well.. Similar fan on my x850 and card runs nice and cool 4. The price So basically what I am wondering is there a reason why its so cheap? I realize it is OEM which makes it cheaper. Is there a bad reason why or is it just because the x700 is an older card and no one wants it because of all the new super duper ATI's? poop |

| Yeah, so I don't know... EDIT: Neither did I. I doesn't look too bad, but I never really trust refurbished products. My bro accidentally bought refurb Z-2300s and one of the satellites didn't work. We got a replacement, but through our own means. The only success I had was buying a refurb Dell. BTW, X700 really sucked, despite the features. - Core 2 Quad Q6600 - DFI Infinity 975X - 4GB Corsair XMS2 w/ DHX DDR2-800 - 250GB Seagate 7200.10RPM + 160GB Hitachi 5400.4RPM - ATi Radeon X1900XT 256MB - Cooler Master Centurion 5 + OCZ StealthXStream 600W - Acer 19" P191W Monitor - Logitech Z-5500 Digital + Logitech MX Revolution - Vista Ultimate x64 Last edited by wtcnbrwndo4u; December 29th, 2006 at 18:33. |

| OK, so it does better that I remembered. But either way, it's still on par with a 6600, which is lame for it because it was supposed to compete with the 6600GT. - Core 2 Quad Q6600 - DFI Infinity 975X - 4GB Corsair XMS2 w/ DHX DDR2-800 - 250GB Seagate 7200.10RPM + 160GB Hitachi 5400.4RPM - ATi Radeon X1900XT 256MB - Cooler Master Centurion 5 + OCZ StealthXStream 600W - Acer 19" P191W Monitor - Logitech Z-5500 Digital + Logitech MX Revolution - Vista Ultimate x64 |

| Ok well my friend isnt going for super juiced... he is going for value and he doesent want to spend much money. Ive tried to convince him to pitch in a few more bucks for a better card but the cheaper the better. He actually was thinking of purchasing an old PCI card so im trying to save him. poop |

| why not just use the onboard video? and then save up for a better card? cause that stuff will still run games, well not on the greatest of settings, then again the selected gpu wont either, but hey its an option im throwing out there Pentium D 915|EVGA 7050 mATX|OCZ XTC 2GB|XFX 7900GS XT|Hyper Type-R 580W|Qmicra 2 Case |

| the X700 is a very poor card. How about the 7600GS? Other choices could be the 6600GT, x800pro. Check the chart to see how the 128bit 7300GT compares with the x700.
