| Its been said the the dual x1600 card was just a test, and in fact, the real card will be based on the rv570XT chipset Opteron 64 165--1.5GB DDR--ECS KA1 MVP(thanks HL!)--x1800GTO 256MB--Seagate 320GB SATA--Antec 550 Watt--Antec P180 |

| Yep I think this was just a show of the capability. I use X1600XT 256mb GDDR3 on my test bench, and it runs CS:S maxed out HDR, AA, AF @ 1024x768. 1280x1024 is not much of a FPS drop..... Word on the street is that ATI plans to use X1600 as a physics processor, has anyone seen the article about ATI wanting 3 PCI-E x16 slots on MB?
