| I honestly can't believe they would only charge 299.99 for a GTX. Im thinking at least 399.99 initially, which would make your stepup probably around 100+. I mean thats how much they brought the G92 GTS out at | ||||||||||||||

| I expect somewhere in the $400 you'll have to fork for the 9800GTX. From the benching they did at tweaktown it looks like Tri-SLi doesn't scale as nicely as SLi, far from making it worth it imho. ![]() If there is a final hour, let's hope for a higher power. | But you do have to understand if you are going this Tri-Sli route, the drivers are still very raw just like the "Quad SLI" and even the GX2's drivers. I'd revisit in 3 months to see if they matured the drivers a bit before declaring it unworthy of purchase. | ||||||||||||||

For the moment, relatively unworthy of purchase unless you're shitting $100 bills. :P ![]() If there is a final hour, let's hope for a higher power. One by one, and two by two, I have ammo, what about you? | |||||||||||||||

| Is it me or is the performance increase from SLI to Tri and Quad SLI only give marginal performance gains when compared to going from one GPU to SLI???? | Agreed. Look at 9800GTX SLI and Tri-SLI, at 1920x1200 there is only a one point difference! Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 | DFI Blood Iron P35-T2RL | 2GB G.Skill 800MHz | EVGA GeForce 8800GTS 320MB | Silverstone Decathlon 650W | Western Digital 250GB SATA II | ||||||||||||||
