|  8.1 cat drivers O.k I got the 8.1 drivers the other day and proceeded to run 3dmark 06 and to my disgust I have a worse score than before. I am interested to know if anyone else with x1950 have the same outcome as me? I relize the 3870's have had good results with it but Have ATI stoped support for the older cards in a way to try and force us to buy new ones?  | Re: 8.1 cat drivers I have an X1950 Pro, I'll see if I can give it a run tomorrow night. For now, you can go over to TweakTown and check out their benchmarks of the Catalyst 8.1 driver suite. Do you get a little gray square in the corner of your screen too? Quote:

 | Re: 8.1 cat drivers try the Omega drivers and see if that helps at all... I noticed a nice little bump when using them on my setup (in my sig) also my previous score was 4858 but I forget what the new score was since I changed into faster memory  Thanks HL and Corsair! | Futuremark - ORB - Result Analyzer Thats the best i can do . But 7.9 I think it was I got 5200 I have never tried omega drivers before I will give em a shot.
