Default 6600GTs in SLI VS one 7600 GT

At stock speeds, which would be faster?

An XFX is on sale for 139 and i could run it in SLI with my other 6600GT. Would it give me better framerates in Oblivion? thats my main concern since i can't play it at the quality I want too.

To be honest, I think a single 7600GT would be faster, consume less power, and run cooler. You could sell the 6600GT now and it would pay for a lot of the 7600GT. But if you were to get another 6600GT, you wouldn't have any extra cards to sell. Prettymuch any way you look at it, a 7600GT would be a better deal.

if you could sell your 6600gt for around $100 and add that to the $200 you were looking at paying for the 7600gt, you could get a 7900gt. but you wont have a graphics card for a while >.<
