|  6600gt vs Quadro FX 540 i was just wondering what the difference between these two are, since you can flash a 6600gt to a quadro fx 540.  E2140 @ 375 x 8 = 3.0ghz 2x1 ocz system 1337s pc2-6400 5-5-5-15 @ 450mhz gigabyte P35 S3L eVGA 7600GT Stock 120 gig seagate ULTRA X-Finity 600w Sonata 2 w/ top fan G5 Lazer Mouse |

| i looked up the nvidea website and it looked like the quadro FX 540 comes with only DDR ram. ROFL. Does that mean if you flash it, the GDDR 3 grade ram will run slower? | Modder-ator  | It has been long established that gaming cards (obviously) perform much better in games than professional enterprise level workstation graphics cards do. The opposite is also true, that is why they have two different marketing lines and you never hear about people bragging about the gaming performance on their $1000 Quatro or FireGL.  |
