| OK, my graphics card was faulty...(so thats why I've been tearing my hair out for the last 2 weeks )...but now they've replaced my 512 7600 GS with a 256 X1300 Pro saying its just as good, but I think they're feeding me a load of bulls$?#. I want a decent graphics card to run World of Warcraft well, but I'm doubting whether a X1300 Pro can? | Just from what I've been reading the 7600gs is better. I would want the same card back if I was getting a replacement or one that I know is better. |

| T-Rex | That's crap. A x1300 Pro 256M is not as strong as a 7600GS 512M, or a 7600GS 256M for that matters. Something that would be worth as much as a 7600GS would be a X1600 Pro, 512M if possible. And even then, to be honest, I prefer the 7600GS. |

| I'm Diggin it! | I call total BS on this one. Checking out TomsHardware VGA charts plainly shows that even the 7600GS 256m version of that card outperforms the X1300Pro in every single category in every single game. You got screwed. | Modder-ator | Polobunny is right on. Even on AGP, an X1300 of any flavor cannot compete with a 7600GS of any flavor. Go back and demand a GeForece 7 series card no less than a 7600GS like you had. Heck, you should tell them that they should give you a 7800GS for their deceit and your trouble. |

| Ok guys, thanks for the support, its now all sorted ![]() I originally bought a GeForce 7600 GS 512, but after that exploded they gave me another one...but it was a 256...without telling me...and they didn't even notice (mainly because they were priced the same... ). Anyway, I noticed though, when they asked me to get the box to do the exchange.Well, the manager at the store really tried to sell the benefits of the X1300 Pro, saying that they didn't have anything as powerful as a 7600 GS for that kind of money and that he couldn't give me another 7600 GS as they didn't have any......I then produced a X1650 Pro and a 7600 GS that I got straight off of the shelf and pointed to the X1650 Pro...he promptly gave me it for nothing, even though it was worth £20 more than I paid for the 7600 GS ![]() I feel I could have kicked up a fuss and demanded the 7800 GS (The only other decent AGP card there...the other card was a 6200!! ) but I go there often as they really are OK there, so in the spirit of keeping good relations I settled for the lesser victory ![]() Pentium 4 2.8GHz (FSB 533) Elite L4S5MG3 Mobo 2x512 PC2100 RAM Sapphire ATI Radeon X1650 Pro 256MB GDDR3 160GB Seagate Barracuda 7200.9 HDD 160GB Seagate Barracuda 7200.7 HDD Lite-On CD-RW/DVD-ROM LTC-48161H Sony DVD-RW DRU-800A Sumvision 550W PSU Creative i-Trigue 3330 2.1 Speakers Samsung SyncMaster 913n 19" LCD Monitor Windows XP SP2 Last edited by Running Rampant; January 22nd, 2007 at 21:57. |

| I'm Diggin it! | Unfortunately, the 1600Pro 512Mb still lags significantly further back than the 7600GS 256Mb. Even at higher resolutions, as pointed out in the link below, the 1300pro just doesn't keep up, even with 256Mb more ram. I would push the issue much further. VGA Charts.
