| So yea, my Gigabyte 965P-DS3 has no high speed USB ports. When I plug something into one of the four ports on the mobo, it says "This device can perform faster" so I was wondering if there was somewhere I can download new drivers, I tried @ Gigabyte's website but it wasn't there. I think when I reformatted last time I messed up the USB driver installation. I have the original CD, but its at home, and I don't think either of my parents can find it amongst my CD collection. :( My PCI-4-port usb card and the 2 front USB are all high speed though..... so... wtf? | ||||||||||||||

| look in the bottom right corner below the PCI slots and what version mobo is it? I use the 2.0 on any and all slots on this board..... Another place you may want to look at is the BIOS to see if the higher speed is disabled. ![]() Thanks HL and Corsair! | the chipset driver is the same for all versions of this board Heres the link: http://asia.giga-byte.com/FileList/D...pset_intel.exe (I suggest the asia link because it downloads much much much faster than the America links do) ![]() Thanks HL and Corsair! | I'm Diggin it!
| It's either the mobo drivers or a Windows update you're needing. Get the Intel mobo drivers here. Otherwise, I've only had this be an OS issue with Win2000 and WinXP SP1. Updating through Windows update fixes both. | Ok, I'll run the Giga-B's .exe first, and if that don't fix it. I'll cry. then I'll try the intel one. ./recovery tools [edit] Okay, so that did nothing. It still says its not a High Speed USB Last edited by Zambini; January 15th, 2008 at 17:05. | ||||||||||||||
