| If price doesn't matter to you, go for the Striker Extreme!! For a little more realistic choice, Go with a P965 chipset for non-SLI, maybe the ASUS you mentioned or I hear the Gigabyte 965P-DS3 is a very good overclocker. For SLI, I recommend the ASUS P5N32-E SLI Plus. (the "Plus" is important!!) E8400 DFI Blood Iron P35-T2RL 4GB G.Skill 800MHz Sapphire Radeon HD3870 512MB Silverstone DA650W WD 250GB + Seagate 320GB |

| For SLI (2 nvidia graphics cards) the ASUS P5N32-E SLI Plus is the only one that will work because it's a nvidia chipset. For Crossfir (two ATI graphics cards) the P5W DH Deluxe will work, but since you have a nvidia-based card, I'd go with the Asus P5N32-E SLI Plus. By the way, the name's Nate. Welcome to HL!! We'll help you overclock if you want to learn, too!! E8400 DFI Blood Iron P35-T2RL 4GB G.Skill 800MHz Sapphire Radeon HD3870 512MB Silverstone DA650W WD 250GB + Seagate 320GB |

| I recommend spending at least $130 on a PSU. the OCZ psu's are good and thermaltakes are good, too. as for a cooler, maybe the new thermaltake V1 will to the trick or the thermaltake maxorb. also, the zalman 9700 and 9500 series are very good. by the way, you can run 2x 8600 series or the 8800 series in SLI in the future. | mybad, didnt re-read to check if i wrote it right. The only thing that changes between the to mobo's (P5N32-E SLI Plus and the p5w DH deluxe) is the SLI capability? (ja just did the signature now tnx) Laptop:Asus G1 Desktop: P4 3.4HT MSI P4n Diamond 1 gb corsair XMS2 ddr667 seagate 120gb ati radeon x1300 256mb ddr2 PCI-E coolmax 550w PSU |
