| My motherboard temps are geting too high for me to be comfortable with. I use the A8N32-SLI Deluxe and my cpu temps idle around 42 but my mb temps are reaching the high 50's (56-58). Anyone know of ways to bring these temps down? Also do the mb temps come from the north and south bridge or somewhere other on the board? MB... A8N32-SLI Deluxe. CPU.. | I'm Evil | What case and HSF are you using? I notice you don't have those listed in the specs. That motherboard is passively cooled, so air flow in your case will be especially important. I know that board comes with an extra cooler which can be clipped onto the heat pipe at the top, but it might be counterproductive depending on the HSF used. My suggestion would be to improve the air moving through your case and over the heat pipes, which will lower your temperatures. If that doesn't work, you can remove the heat pipes and replace the stock TIM with some AS5 or Ceramique, which should lower those temperatures a bit INTEL QX9650 ASUS P5E3 Premium 4GB DDR3-1600 Sapphire HD 3870X2 Danger Den Tower-26 (Custom W/C) 5 x Seagate 250GB HDD in RAID5 BFG ES 800W PSU |

| I usually take the lid of my case and leave it off. You could always stick a desk fan in there with the side panel off ![]() |

| Modder-ator | Some people have had good success by zip-tying a small fan to the passive heatsink. It's a good cheap and easy way try and reduce your temperatures without having to remove your motherboard or purchase an expensive aftermarket cooler. |

| talking of zip-tying I use those to attach my cables to the empty drive bays which keeps them well out of the way and airflows gd |
