Even though it looks like someone threw up a rainbow on them, Gigabyte boards are awesome. How does the x16 lanes lock, Paul? Looks like it'd be a pain to reach the tabs with a lunker dual-slot video card like an 8800, similar to those annoying squeeze tabs.

The PCI-E tabs are actually a strong point, and I'd like to see all manufacturers follow suit. You can pull the white tab from behind, or push them in from the other side, whichever affords you easier access.

nice review. my GA X38 DQ6 is waiting for me at my parents house :-D

for what its worth, quadcore processors generally have a rougher time getting higher fsb overclocks than dualcores but still, 465mhz for a quad is pretty good. cant wait to see what mine does with an E6750

Very nice mobo there! Will be nice to see them come down in price along with DDR3!

As usual, I'm Diggin it.

And I might add, Digg has changed their submission routine and spiffied up their pages.

As much as I was down about other Gigabyte boards, I want this one. Oh well maybe with my next build in mid 2009

Thanks HL and Corsair!
