Well Blake has done it again!!!! Nice review as always Blake

ECS EliteGroup seems to have finally found its trademark and started a reputation for itself. The trademark being purple PCB's and glowing green exhaust fans; the name one of generous bundles and great prices. The socket AM2 CrossFire installment of the "Extreme" series from ECS is here, but lets find out if this board can follow in the footsteps of its predecessors.

Did you try updating the BIOS to see if that fixed any of the problems you had?

Ok, I just updated the BIOS and the new 06/09/22 version (dated 9/22/2006) actually has a couple extra memory timing options including CAS latency and Command Rate. However, there are still the same limited voltage adjustments, and I am actually experiencing WORSE stability with this BIOS in terms of overclocking.

And when I adjust the CAS latency, it doesn't seem to actually change the value. The changes to 4 in the BIOS, but CPU-Z is still reading it at 5. Not sure what the deal is with that....
