Default DFI X38 board pictured!

Seems like the first Intel X38 boards are coming out next month!

Notice the 8-phase Digital VREG's (not the old analog VREGs that most boards have). Makes for a killer OC experience (I'm predicting). Custom chipset cooling not in place yet obviously... But according to the article, these are scheduled for next month! Good news indeed!

Ya, I'd have to agree. The addition of the digital VREG's are a huge plus for the overclockers.

Hahaha! I liked it a lot better when they showed it at Computex (or was that CeBit? They are all the same, LOL) with the yellow and orange crap all over it.

Looks like Bigbird blew snot all over it.

While I'm happy to see the new chipset coming out soon, I've not been a fan of DFI products in the past.

You know what, as much as I like heatpipes and good cooling, I would much rather just have some good passive heatsinks on each chip. Heatpipes like to get messed up when the board is upside down. My P35-DS3R does it but then again, I don't know if the X38 is going to product more or less heat.
