They are just different channels. If you put two sticks of RAM in the two like colored slots (either both orange or both yellow) the RAM will run in Dual channel.
As to one set (or color) being better than another, I don't think it really matters. I've seen people argue subjectively back and forth all day about it. But I would say use the two slots of like color that are closest to the processor socket (slots 1 and 3).

i'm actually gonna go overclock my pc come more right now. Its been stuck at 2.1, my sig is wrong. lol I sumhow never manged to get it very high. But my ram isn't like shytless so ionno. I think i'm using 235 * 9 if i remember correctly. and my cpu volatege is like 1.56 =P never botehred to turn it down. But my idle temp is still quite low, usually around 29-31, if i don't fold.

Well, even if your temperatures are satisfactory with high voltage, that doesn't mean that your processor still isn't being stressed big time. High voltage is almost just as dangerious as high temperatures. Even if your on a phase change cooling system and your processor is below freezing with 1.65v, it still won't last very long because of the high voltage being pumped through it.
Just keep that in mind when you find an overclock for 24/7 use ;)

Well, I'm not saying to lower it. High 1.5xx voltage range is about my personal max, especially with air cooling.
Just make sure it is still stable when you lower it :)

yeah i lowered to 1.45. MY temps are a very low 22-23c now. However, I sitll can't oc my cpu past 2115 mhz. I'm using 135 * 9. I tried changing to 270 * 8 but that didn't work. IT stopped at the black load screen.

make sure your htt is lower or equal to 1000. look at my thread in general to find out how to determine the HTT.
