| Hello ! everyone, this is my first post and I'm new to this forum. I need help... I'm using a DFI NF4 SLI Infinity, last week I update my bios to CK8LD410 and now I cannot find the "memoryclock index value" divider. now in the bios is 100,133,166,200,250 Mhz. previously was 100 1:1, 1:0.8 etc I tried to update again to CK8LD301 but unable to load the bios. I am currently oc my amd64 3200+ to 2600MHz (260x10) ram set to 133 (when oc shows 345 when post) What must I update to get the ram divider ? Thank you... |

| socket 939 junkie | first off welcome to the forums! i would start off by clearing the cmos and then i would try to roll back to your previous bios again to get the old settings back. |

| We take both criticism and positive comments very positively | The problem with rolling back a BIOS is sometimes there are code changes that prevent the rollback.....you can actually roll back the version, but once you've upgraded some features will never be present again. I've seen this happen specifically with DFI motherboards. your only real option is to clear the CMOS, short the jumper, pull the battery for at least 15 minutes, then try flashing again......after the flash, repeat those steps......if that doesn't work, you are pretty much stuck with the 4/10 BIOS. | This option is the RAM divider. It's easier to understand than the ratio's, IMO. 1:1 is the 200 setting, 6:5 is the 166 setting, 3:2 is the 133 option, and so on. | Modder-ator | Yes, that is exactly right. You still have the memory divider settings, they are just identified a little differently with the new BIOS. What specific components do you have (processor and RAM) and what were your previous overclocking settings like (as far as what memory dividers, speeds, etc)? |
