Thumbs down DFI motherboard

I have a DFI AK-75-EC A motherboard and I would like to know if I can use a 4x/8x video card in this board
The book said it is a 2X/4X board but I heard that youn can use a different card in this board?

Default Re: DFI motherboard

no, unfortunately because the pinout is different for 2X cards than it is for 8X cards, you will be limited to a card that can only handle 2x/4x or 4x, not 4x/8x. The only card on Newegg that is 2x/4x is an ATI 9250.

Thanks HL and Corsair!
