| 5 Minute Mod Man | I was browsing Newegg for some economical/reasonable/reliable pc3200 ram. I came across these brands: A-DATA, Patriot, G.Skill They are all 1 GB (2 x 512MB) 184-Pin DDR SDRAM DDR 400 (PC 3200), they have heat spreaders, timings are 2-3-3-6. Do any of you have any experience with any of these brands or other recommendations for similar DDR ram under $100? |

| I'd probably go for the G.Skill first because they have a very good reputation. Then the Patriots, then the A-Data. ![]() I Like Watercooling. D-Tek Fuzion, MCP655, MCR220 |

| I'm Evil | G.Skill is very good memory, Patriot is not bad either, but IMO is not on the same level as G.Skill INTEL QX9650 ASUS P5E3 Premium 4GB DDR3-1600 Sapphire HD 3870X2 Danger Den Tower-26 (Custom W/C) 5 x Seagate 250GB HDD in RAID5 BFG ES 800W PSU |

| I'm Diggin it! | Another vote for the G.Skill, then Patriot and not even considering A-Data. I've tried A-Data Ram one time for a budget build box. Never again. | I don't know how to put this, but, I'm kind of a big deal. | This is for your HTPC, right? This 1GB Corsair PC3200 kit for $85 shipped would be just fine, though if you need/want the heatspreaders, the next on my list would be the G.Skill kit you found for $97 shipped. From what I'm seeing, the Patriot just shows as 'Out of Stock' with no ETA, and I have my doubts Newegg will stock up on more anytime soon. |
