| OK so i just got the ultimate a$$f*ck, literally like a giant drumstick shoved up my anus. I RMA-ed my RAM back to newegg, hoping to atleast get a working pair. well, they f'ed me good, i got sent 2 NON-WORKING (as in defective) 512 MB STICKS. So to help in the choice of others, DONT BUY Crucial Ballistix. Pentium D 915|EVGA 7050 mATX|OCZ XTC 2GB|XFX 7900GS XT|Hyper Type-R 580W|Qmicra 2 Case |

| We take both criticism and positive comments very positively | Agreed, Newegg doesn't open the packaging or perform any testing....they are simply a retail outlet. As to Crucial, I've never had a problem with their stuff and highly recommend it.....contact me via email or PM with the particulars and I'll get you fixed up asap INTEL QX9650 // Gigabyte EP45 Extreme // 8GB PC2-8500 // BFG GTX260 MaxCore // DD Torture Rack // Seagate 750GB HDD // OCZ Vendetta // PC Power & Cooling 620W PSU |

| by no means am i blaming newegg. My father put it something like this - When he was in the jewelry business and something was purchased from him, and it didnt live up to the description, it didnt matter who made the "thing", it was from who it was purchased. He sorta said its Newegg's fault for not making sure its products that it sells works. I tried telling him it would take huge amounts of time and would likely cost a lot and probably would ya know not work, like voiding the warranty before a person even has it. So its sorta both Crucial's fault and Newegg's for not selling working RAM. And yet its not, cause they very well cant test every sinlge stick of RAM, it just would be practical, i think thats where my father doesnt understand. He was also kinda angry because the order was using my email account and his money, and then having the RAM sent to the house and then him sending the RAM to me here at college, so yes newegg will reimburse me for the shipping, but not for the stuff my dad has sent to me. So now i have to do it through my own money account, even though ill be using his name under the newegg account, and the credit card will have my name. Its weird i may need to call them about this slight change in billing info. Pentium D 915|EVGA 7050 mATX|OCZ XTC 2GB|XFX 7900GS XT|Hyper Type-R 580W|Qmicra 2 Case |

| Level 2 College Student | Just bought 2GB of DDR2; How should I test it? Me too. Except I haven't gotten my RMA back yet. I pray that i won't get as bad luck as you. :( Really the only thing that pisses me off is it takes 8-10 days to get it back to me :'( |
