| I am looking to purchase a SD card for my SanDisk e130 MP3 player. Any suggestions for brands and type of SD cards as there seem to be a few different categories and a ton of vendors now. I looking for 512mg-1gb in the under $35 range where I won't notice a great difference of load time between the internal and SD card memory. I am not looking at using it for data files and I am not as concerned about transfer times from the PC. Thanks! | Modder-ator | When it comes to something as common as SD cards, you'll probably be fine with just about anything that doesn't have mostly bad reviews; especially just for use in an mp3 player. As Stinger mentioned, Sandisk is one of the more popular brands of flash memory, but Adata, Transcend, Apacer, Kingston, Corsair, Lexar, TwinMOS, OCZ, and Patriot should all be trustworthy sources of SD flash memory cards. So find something from a reputable brand and just get the lowest priced one that you feel comfortable buying and it should be fine. |

| I'm Diggin it! | I've had excellent results from Sandisk and Lexar media. Sony as well. I also have a PNY 512Mb SD card in my iPaq. It has been through hell and still works. The PNY actually transfers data faster than my Memory Stick Pro. | Level 2 College Student | If you go to fry's, you can EASILY get a 2gb card <40 bucks. I got my sister and my girlfriend both 2gb Kingston SD cards. They also have the cards that you can fold in half so it has its own USB plug right on it for uber easy access. FRYS.com |
