Seems like we are in time were new technology is getting replaced before it even gets much use. GDD4, DX10(DX10.1 is coming out rather soon), and alot more. What happened to the times when we stuck with one standard, and stuck with it for a while?

DX10.1 is nothing really. Not even as important as DX9.0b to DX9.0c. I wouldn't worry about it much.
And yeah, i'm still rocking some DDR here too. :P

DDR2-800 for me in the primary rig, the secondary still has the ol' reliable stuff.

Anyways LH, looks like GDDR3 will still be the standard for a while, they don't expect GDDR5 to become the standard until 2010.
