Default S_I's overclocking

since im constantly tweaking my pc i thought i would make a dedicated thread that ill update (when i remember. memory's the first thing to go they say ) instead of posting a lot of different threads that only last a few posts

anywho today i managed to get my ram (OCZ Gold VX DDR400) to run (and pass memtest86 with 0 errors) on a 1:1 ratio with my fsb for DDR510 (255mhz) ok so heres my settings:
DDR510 3-3-3-8 timings @ 3.5v

i had an extra 80mm fan lying around so i set it up to blow directly on the ram to keep em cool. its a good thing that OCZ warrants these up to 3.5v so im still g2g if something should happen. now im going to back off the voltage to the ram and see if i can get it to pass memtest86 again. no point in running something at 3.5v when it can do it at 3.4v right?

I've run mine up as high as DDR520, 260 MHz, but it will do 250 MHz at 3.4v just fine. I made a special fan bracket to keep them cool so I don't have to worry about loose fans all over the case.

It's just some 1/8 plexi bent into shape and stuck inbetween the MoBo and tray.
