| hmm i would choose the team xtreem. thats my take. their timings usually are more aggressive and work nicely with the C2Ds. |

| There isn't a given on which one will OC better, it all depends on your setup and such. IMO, The Mushkin will serve you well, but if anything I'd grab some corsair or OCZ. Intel Core 2 Duo E6420 Conroe @ 2.80GHz Cooler Master GeminII - Thanks Rich and HL! ![]() I think the Team Xtreem stuff would be your best bet as it has tighter timings and is more likely to be better chips. Like the Micron D9GMH chips found on much of the rest of their similarly spec'd line, which is what I have and they seem to be very versitile. Mine hit 500MHz and stock timings at ~2v no problems at all and I would be willing to bet a good amount of money they have plenty more headroom. | |

| LOL. Of course I know that but I'm talking about the memories overclocking potential not the overall system. Remember that it's a DS3. I heard that there are some issues with using the ds3 and Micron D9 chips. ![]() I Like Watercooling. D-Tek Fuzion, MCP655, MCR220 |

I'd still vouch for the Mushkin, but I'm outnumbered in this one and blake would know more than me so ![]() Intel Core 2 Duo E6420 Conroe @ 2.80GHz Cooler Master GeminII - Thanks Rich and HL! | I'm Diggin it! | I've never even heard of Team Xtreem memory. Much less used it. Mushkin is a known entity in my experience. | We take both criticism and positive comments very positively | its going to be hit and miss either way....both kits are only rated to PC2-6400, anything over that is gravy.....and every kit and system is different. You also have to take into consideration the batch, etc......so other than looking at listed specs, there is no way to guarantee one kit being better than the other INTEL E8400 // Gigabyte EP45 Extreme // 4GB DDR3-1600 // Palit HD 4870 // Antec 1200 // Seagate 750GB HDD // Zalman CNPS9700 // BFG ES 800W PSU |
