| The Final Word
| ![]() When we think of memory, Kingston is one of the companies that instantly come to mind. With over 2,000 memory products currently on the market, the guys and gals over there in Fountain Valley, California are busy cranking out memory for our computers, servers, printers, digital cameras and cell phones. Considered by Fortune magazine as one of the "Best Companies to Work for in America", Kingston employees share their happiness with us by providing great customer support for their products. | Nice review, surprisingly small. I like how the connector cover snaps into the back of the key when in use. The games provided look decent, though obviously you wouldn't expect expensive games to be provided onto a cheap USB key I think they made a good decision by giving out games from Big Fish Games. They're simple, addictive and most of all most computers are able to run them. :) On a more or less related point, it's crazy how flash based media is cheap. I remember thinking no less than 1 year and a half ago how neat it would be for a computer technician to carry usb keys in a wallet like case instead of CD/DVD. However it was too expensive, a CD being a few cents and a 512MB flash drive was around 25 dollars. Something about installing an operating system from a USB key always appealed to me. :P Edit: In the same line of thought, Solid Alliance offers lego flash drives. :P ![]() If there is a final hour, let's hope for a higher power. One by one, and two by two, I have ammo, what about you? Last edited by gvblake22; February 27th, 2008 at 04:50. | ||||||||||||||

| That's really neat. With flash drives being dirt cheap, and there being so many from which to choose, neat features and designs are, I think, what will make some more successful than others. | Kingston makes good USB drives. I had a Memorex 512 and 2gb and then the school store had Kingston Data Travelers 1GB on sale so I picked one up. The Kingston is by far the fastest... | I just bought an 8GB Sandisk Cruzer for $43 shipped on eBay. That was one hell of a deal... Now I carry around Call of Duty 4 wherever I go (and hey, it actually works). I just pulled some .dll files I needed and the registry keys. Actually, it turns out I need an EXE of the Punkbuster install too... I forgot... haha. - Core 2 Quad Q6600 - DFI Infinity 975X - 4GB Corsair XMS2 w/ DHX DDR2-800 - 250GB Seagate 7200.10RPM + 160GB Hitachi 5400.4RPM - ATi Radeon X1900XT 256MB - Cooler Master Centurion 5 + OCZ StealthXStream 600W - Acer 19" P191W Monitor - Logitech Z-5500 Digital + Logitech MX Revolution - Vista Ultimate x64 | ||||||||||||||
