Default Just a question of opinion

Hi guys...like a few people on here, I am new to overclocking and DDR3. I have been out of the game for almost two years, and I'm trying to come back into the game. I jsut recently purchased OCZ ReaperX HPC EB 2GB (2x1GB) Dual Channel System Memory OCZ3RPX1333EB2GK, DDR3 1333 (PC3-10666), Unbuffered, 240-Pin. ds. I got it on sale for $279, which was a little cheaper than some others. Does anyone out there know anything about this particular type? I researched what I could, and thought it was an ok buy. I have an ASUS P5K3 Mobo...still in the box, because I have yet to get a case or a new water cooler. Any info would be great. Thanks!

While we're big fans of Crucial memory......in my opinion OCZ is the best "bang for the buck" memory. Look around Newegg and compare kits, you'll see that OCZ typically has comparable kits to Crucial and corsair that are much less expensive.

As to compatibility, check the ASUS site. I wouldn't think you'd have any problems, and if you did, OCZ support is some of the best around, they'd do about anything to keep a customer happy.
