Default Help me make a purchase decision

I gave buying a new rig a serious thought but after a while I decided that it would not be the best route for me to go. Since I am already on 939, I may as well just upgrade it. A motherboard and cpu upgrade, maybe some extra storage, and maybe a case upgrade and it's a brand new rig.
My specs are in my sig, but the videocard is now an XFX 7800GT.

Here is the memory I am considering:

It looks really nice and I have good expectations from it. I also chose it from the "Mainstream" recommendations on HL. That page is bloody useful.
If you want to suggest another set of memory, please only pick from Anitec.ca or NCIX.com.

Remember i'm a Canadian. 8)

For the best performance to cost ratio I'd highly recommend either the G.Skill or some Mushkin memory. Corsair is awesome, but you pay a premium for stuff that good.....as to OCZ...well, i can't even get them to return an email or phone call....so its hard for me to recommend them.

Pretty nice system already so I would say if you want to upgrade the ram then thats just about the best bang for the buck from what I see. Although if you store music or video you might want to add a bigger HDD.

Thanks. I pour my heart and soul into every rig that I build. Especially my rig. The ram is just begging for an upgrade, thats why I want to change it. Most of the videos I download, i end up deleting later. If I still had my TV tuner I would have thought twice about upgrading to say a 500 gb hard drive.

Wait for AM2 for a new rig, or Conroe, whichever pleases your soul.

I've heard many good things about G.Skill. For one, it's performance ram and two, it's dreadfully cheap. MonarchComputer has probably the cheapest prices you can find on Corsair XMS. They guarantee it. And Monarch is a great place to buy from.

Yeah, I've heard of that. They got a great Reseller Rating though.

I would say go for the G. Skill, but if you feel otherwise, take a gander at the XMS.

One reason we support Newegg around here is their great shipping. Their prices are competitive with most everyone, and their RMA and customer service is top notch

I ordered my current processor and video card both from Monarch with no problems and shipping time was satisfactory (not too slow, but not suprisingly fast either). I would recommend them.
