| Relativity is fun!
| Anyone know of any websites that have the mushkin 4x2gb redline ddr2-1000 (i'm pretty sure that's the version I'm looking for, it's the one that was reviewed here recently) in stock? The only place I've been able to find is ncix.com... and it's pricey there. Newegg won't have it in stock for a while, and I'm pretty bored at work, so I'd figure I'd ask here. Maybe get lucky, at the very least Ihave something to do now, lol. Thanks for any input! e6300@3.33ghz|Asus P5k-e WiFi| 4gb OCZ ReaperX|2x 3870's|1.3tb storage space|MSI tv tuner. | ||||||||||||||

| There's also the red Ballistix as well, which have the red blinking LEDs...although I believe they only come in 2x1GB. Buffalo Firestix are another good choice, but again I haven't seen any 2x2GB kits of them yet. | ||||||||||||||

| That is tempting... although I was really hoping to stick with mushkin, lol. At this point I'm probably going to wait for the mushkin to get back in stock at the egg, and then take a 2nd look at everything. e6300@3.33ghz|Asus P5k-e WiFi| 4gb OCZ ReaperX|2x 3870's|1.3tb storage space|MSI tv tuner. | ||||||||||||||

| Colonel Calamity
| remember, mushkin is very picky on gigabyte boards... I could not get my P965-DS3 board to see this Mushkin DDR2-1066 at anything past 800... if I set it over 804 the system would not post. Just a fore warning ![]() Thanks HL and Corsair! My opinions are my own and not representative of this site or its members. | ||||||||||||||

| The time has come for Revenge of the Nerds!
| One experience does not a generalization make. I had absolute no problems getting that exact Mushkin Redline kit to run at (and beyond) DDR2-1000 on a Gigabyte GA-X38-DQ6. Nor have I run into Mushkin/Gigabyte incompatibilities in general... | ||||||||||||||
