| We take both criticism and positive comments very positively | Ballistics - the fine science of motion that has given us cannons, catapults, rockets, and a myriad other toys with which to play havoc with. Then there are Ballistix, the (in)famous memory line from Crucial that leaves other lesser kits weeping from sorrow in it's wake. Forgetting about projectile trajectory for a bit, Crucial has rolled out the artillery in the form of its newest incarnation wielding a rating of PC3-16000. Yes, you read that right, a whopping 2000MHz of blistering speed that breaks the sound barrier of current offerings. When looking back to how just a few months ago DDR3 could barely out pace it's predecessor, we can only feel that slight tingle of glee and anticipation that normally follows such a launch. http://www.hardwarelogic.com/news/13...008-06-05.html INTEL QX9650 // Gigabyte EP45 Extreme // 8GB PC2-8500 // BFG GTX260 MaxCore // DD Torture Rack // Seagate 750GB HDD // OCZ Vendetta // PC Power & Cooling 620W PSU |

| F Ucn rd dis U mst uzUNIX | Would LOVE to see it in the firing line with OCZ3P2000EB2GK's and Corsair's XMS3's (when released). Kinda high really when you can get the much cheaper memory to 473Mhz at the same timings. Might be useful later on down the road when not many CPU's like being over 450Mhz, but then again...later on down the road this will be old. Ya, saw this earlier today on the INQ. GJ! That's pretty wide coverage when you're plopped on their roundups. |

| Colonel Calamity | wow looks great! Looks like crucial themselves have it for $500 now: Crucial.com - 2GB kit (1GBx2), Ballistix 240-pin DIMM, DDR3 PC3-16000 memory module BL2KIT12864BE2009 of course that is still out of the price range for 2GB of memory... especially when you can get a 2GB kit of DDR2 for $40-60 and DDR3 for under $100 ![]() Thanks HL and Corsair!
