Default Corsair TWINX2048-4000PT 2GB memory kit

We've posted our review of Corsair's TWINX-2048-4000PT memory kit....check it out here and tell us what you think

Quote:
Our Recommendation
While not as versatile as some other kits, notably the Corsair TWINX2048-3500LLPRO, the TWINX2048-4000PT showed itself to be a damn fine kit. Though I was a tad disappointed initially to not be able to run CAS 2 (the best I could get was 2.5), I was mightily impressed all during my testing as this kit hit DDR484 at CAS 2.5, and DDR560 at CAS 3....well beyond its rated speed of DDR500. While the TWINX2048-4000PT is not a kit I'd recommend for those who do not overclock, I think it should definitely be on the short list of those who want to get every ounce of performance out of their system without the aid of a memory divider or insane voltages. There simply are not many kits that will scale all the way to DDR560, and when you consider the price, the lifetime warranty, and RAM Guy support forums, the TWINX2048-4000PT is a great choice.

well-written buddy.....280 FSB isn't anything to scoff at by any means, especially at those timings :D

Finally got the pleasure of reading through this review!
I've always liked reading your memory reviews and this is no exception :)
It's amazing to see the performance jump from 200mhz to 242 with the same "moderately relaxed" 2.5-3-3-8 timings. Really an eye opener. Looks like this RAM has some good overclocking potential too! 280mhz is nothing to scoff at. With a 10x multiplier, you should have no problem hitting the maximum air cooled overclock on most typical AMD processors.
