| hi, i have a acer 5920G and i was wondering is their any safe way to merge the c: and d: partitions without erm ... breaking it lol or deleting the files on it. Its on Vista 32 bit Home Premuim. | Functional Alcoholic | Why do you want to combine the partitions? It's recommended to have two partitions (or 2 HDDs) one for your system files and one for your data files. That way if you have to reinstall your OS, or it crashes your data is safe. |

| nope its not its just empty it has a seperate 9. something gb partition for recovery and 3 . whatever of something else. i just thought it be convienient to have the 2 as one.
