| nice Penryn is looking good, btw what happend to AMD quad core platform, whats it called again??? but back to Penryn, i hope they wont have the locked FSB/multipliers like what Rich is ranting about the Core 2 Duo E6850... anyhow i would like to see how far that monster can go with aircooling and the best WC available... | One thing about the new quad-core: it runs at 130W, so it will run HOT! The AMD stuff was called Phenom... Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 | DFI Blood Iron P35-T2RL | 2GB G.Skill 800MHz | EVGA GeForce 8800GTS 320MB | Silverstone Decathlon 650W | Western Digital 250GB SATA II | ||||||||||||||

| what 130W, that is insane, too much power! so it will be running as hot as the Prescott processor before... or there is some mechanism to lower the temp aside from high end commercial air cooler or WC.... | Wow, triple core... Hopefully they are cheaper than the quad cores. It would be a very nice bridge between middle and high end.
