I wonder if it is a real POS????

As you said though, it would be good for someone just needing a system on the cheap side

Interesting review of all contemporary dual core processors here (including Celeron E1200). Also a review of the Celeron E1200 and other Intel processors with different cache sizes here. Both are great reviews worth reading to get an idea of how the different processors stack up against each other in different applications as well as how cache size in Intel processors affects performance.

The E1200 is the processor that I plan on using for my sisters next build.
She writes books using Micro$oft Word, she also watch's movies every once in a while. So this will be a great processor for her.

Maybe I'll start another thread about her build though cuz I'm not to sure on all the parts....

Yup :)
It's called: Onboard graphixs, Custom built case, already got a PSU and Screen.

I just need the mobo, ram (like 1GB), HD, CPU and DVD burner.
Got any recommendations?
BTW, GMA graphics will be fine for her. And a mATX mobo
