| I'd say around $400 also.. Keep in mind that if you plan on oc'n it.. FX55's generally shine when under extreme cooling .. So if you going to pop it under a air cooler it might not be worth it.. I had a FX55 that I ran on air for a while before I upgraded to water and it only did a little over 2800mhz stable.. For around $400 you can get an Opty 170.. Most of them will do 2800mhz without a sweat .. And even if you only reach 2650-2700mhz it will still spank a FX55 at around 2800mhz because of the dual cores.. Just my opinion.. I never thought I would like or have the need for dual core but now that I went with one I love it.. It just makes everything smoother.. |

| What core is the fx-55? sandiago or clawhammer..a clawhammer isent worth hardley anything, a sandiago with the right stepping can bring over 650 on a real market. this is a real FX-55 :) capper has it at his house right now! allong with this 4800+ that i took the worldrecord with :) http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc?id=89669 |
