I don't know how to put this, but, I'm kind of a big deal.

AMD will need a bit more than minor processor revisions to compete with Conroe, and it's not as if Intel processors will cease to be revised as well...

Exactly. This is just a die shrink people, not some revolutionary new architechture. Even K8L (according to the AMD spokesperson) "is evolutionary, not revolutionary."

I would expect these 65nm "revision G" processors to be similar to the move from New Castle to Winchester/Venice and Clawhammer to San Diego.
