| there is a difference in preformance but its not worth the extra money, an overclocked E6600 would end up best bang for buck CPU. its only a 266mhz difference and isnt going to be that noticable in anything but benchmarks | ||||||||||||||

| Definitely not. Especially considering that you can overclock the E6600 to E6700 speeds even with the stock Intel cooler that came with your proc. You aren't going to notice a 266Mhz bump, and spending money for such a small (sideways, really) upgrade isn't very cost effective when you can use that money instead on upgrading a different component in your system. | ||||||||||||||

| Heck no. I overclocked mine to 3.2 for everyday use. The guys here, especially GVBlake "The Magnificent", walked me through it step by step. I saved money and have a better CPU now. | E6600 all the way. As already stated, you can OC the E6600 to E6700 REALLY easily and there is to reason to buy something you can get for free (the speed).
