Default E6600 + 965P DS3 Running HOT

i wondering is it normal for 54-55C on stock with DS3+E6600???
with OC of 3.024GHZ at 1.4V and 335FSB it hovers at 68-69C...
both in Full 100% Itat load...

with Orthos Blend Load it hovers at 58-66C OC of above same volt...???

remember i just got my Mobo back from RMA, i mean the DS3... so i was
experimenting at OC, the OC at 3.024ghz with 1.4V was stable and fast, but temps
reacts ridiculously high...

i did re-apply AC5 same with ZM-STG1 grease lower than 2C, i dont know the ambient room temp is 78-83C most of the time... have i done something wrong???

other: i'm using a Zalman 9700LED... 965P DS3 Rev. 3.3

Has your E6600 always been that hot?

If there is a final hour, let's hope for a higher power. One by one, and two by two, I have ammo, what about you?

no, actually it was running 36-42C Idle at 9700LED and ECS680i.... and 48-50C at full 100% on both cores in Itat and 46-48C Orthos Blend Test...

and YH its not a typo my apartment is at 11th floor and its always 8-12F above the outside temp... witch is about 72-74F right now inside out apartment with outside temp of 66F...

You need to check and make sure your fan speed for the CNPS9700 is turned to high. Sounds like the fan is turning too slow.

And Halutz, if your room temp were 78-83C as you stated previously, you would be dead in no time. And thus, your ghost is the one who would posting here.

my E6600 @ stock 2.4GHz on DS3 shows as 52-54ºC under full load, both cores @ 100% in TAT or orthos or whatever uses it at 100%... idle is typically 34-36ºC
this is with an ambient room temp of around 80-85ºF... I also have a Scythe Ninja on it and even with that bigass cooler it still runs over 50ºC
Just as a reference

Thanks HL and Corsair!

thats what i'm wondering about... why other E6600 + DS3 hover in 52-54 Full load under stock speed... while mine idle at 43-45C right now un-OC'd stock speed and i dont know why... so its either my mobo is craping out or my HS is not doing its job... coz as far as i'm concern with the thermal paste i'm sure i done it right...
