Looks like they will come in just slightly higher than what current prices are now. Not too unreasonable I suppose.
At least they will actually have a Sempron lineup for AM2 (unlike s939) :roll:

Damn I haven't even upgraded to the 939 socket yet, slow down. Well I guess I'll just skip the 939 now.

E2140 @ 375 x 8 = 3.0ghz
2x1 ocz system 1337s pc2-6400 5-5-5-15 @ 450mhz
gigabyte P35 S3L
eVGA 7600GT Stock

Sonata 2 w/ top fan

Well... it does, but you will need to have an opteron that is socket am2.

The next generation Opteron processors will be on Socket F with like 1024 pins or something like that. I don't think there will be any made for AM2. I think this could be the end of the desktop Opteron era :(
