| Re: AMD Showcases 45nm Silicon I thought 45nm would be coming out in late 2008 to early 2009. But as alsways there might be some issue so it might come out in mid to late 2009. AMD is working really hard to catch up to Intel. But it's all about the $$$ and without in AMD wont go far. I wish them luck nd hopefully they'll be the top dog again someday. Intel might pull a trick and keep AMD under it's foot as long as possible to the point where AMD will be stuck for good. But all in all these new processors are awesome. My Athlon is fast enough for me! And Intel C2D is 50-75% faster than AMD's fastest. And AMD's Barcelona is to be 40% faster that Intel's C2D. Then Intel's Nahalem is going to be faster... What programs are actually use all the power?!?!?! (other than games, F@H, and Vista Malware)  The greatest proof that intelligent life exists is the fact that they haven't tried to contact us yet. | ||||||||||||||
