| I just read this on DailyTech as well... I keep an eye on them.... I did respond there as well but as usual it is like the YouTube of responses there from egotistical techs that seem to know it all (which I usually get voted down) ![]() ![]() Thanks HL and Corsair! | Very good news, It's always nice to get new technology that is faster and more efficient than the old! Looks like some reasonable prices too, can't wait to see these things hit the shelves, that E8400 is calling my name! | ||||||||||||||

| Who really needs AMD in the picture as competition ... Intels breakneck advancements is driving their own "better than AMD" chips down without AMD being much of the equation. Hope they don't sit on their laurels ... hope AMD doesn't either ... hope that new advancements actually keep this pace. | ||||||||||||||

| AMD is going downhill fast, and it's really sad. They released a whopping three Phenom processors based on a new architecture (two of which are virtually the same). Just shows exactly how happy/confident they are about their own new technology... ![]() | ||||||||||||||

| well, if AMD dont give up and continue their research rather than focusing of Marketing they could divert to more powerful and affordable cpu that will put them back to the top and make their grass greener than before... but for now the king of the hill is Intel and they are not playing around as we all see on the new offerings of CPU line up specially love the lower price and good speed boost up... i only hope they pack the same OC capabilities like their older CPU brothers... | Damn right! Hell, for another $50 you can get the Q9450 with an additional 6MB of cache and 150Mhz of speed for $316 (if the price is valid upon release). | ||||||||||||||
