Blogging?

You know (actually, you probably don't, yet), but I've been toying with the idea of blogging for some time now. I have several friends that do it (hatshrapnel.com especially, good for a laugh, although it might not all make sense).
I never seem to know what to say though. I mean, are there people out there that care that I just installed Fedora 9, only to find out that the version of X that is uses doesn't have good nvidia OR ati drivers out there? Maybe not.
Well, I care. I mean, it seems nice and functional so far. Very similar to Ubuntu, which is to be expected on some level, since they both use Gnome and whatnot, (at least, I'm pretty sure Fedora 9 is running Gnome by default), but Fedora's menu's are laid out in a little more logical manner, and the layout for the system preferences is a little better laid out (it's split up into sub categories, instead of just one big list. Just easier to sort though.). Also, it looks like it has support for tablets out of the box, without manual editing of system settings, but it didn't seem to work yet. Didn't try too hard though... getting good video drivers was first on my list.
But I just don't see why they'd release this new version of X (the default window system) when there aren't good drivers for it yet. Now, hopefully it wont take too long for them to be up and working, because not having the flash that compiz brings to linux (I still don't see why Microsoft doesn't have something like that), it's annoying not being able to run at the proper resolution, even.
So hopefully someone updates the ati drivers (don't even get me started on the lack of screen rotation in the ati drivers...) so that they work... but for now? I'm going back to openSUSE, and giving that one more chance.
