How a website can change you

We have all seen the popular sites ranging from MySpace and YouTube to Newegg and of course HardwareLogic. Rarely does a site or its people actually affect your life aside from being a simple way to send notes, post rantings or show off your new puppy.
When that rare occurrence does happen, you tend to be hooked into the very thing that other sites do not have. For each person this is different, some are happy being able to troll and flamebait, some like to be as vague as possible, others...

15 months is a long time

Macarthur said it best "I shall return." And after 2 1/2 grueling years he made good on his promise to the people of the Philippians. You could say I underwent a similar situation after I was told that I was going to Iraq for a 15 month "vacation" of sand, sun and camel spiders. Well I have returned and my how the tech world has changed.

Its funny, you never really notice how fast things change until you remove yourself from something for an extended period of...

Embarrassing Moments

Believe it or not, not everything we do is hardware related. Although I rarely leave the house anymore, I try to entertain myself in a number of ways.....some successful, and some, well, not so much.
We've all done our share of stupid, or less than genius level things, and today I'll share with you the three best stories my wife loves to share with everyone. They may or may not be Darwin Award candidates, but they've gotten more than their share of laughs from friends and family.
