Not at all Fox is just as bad as the rest and possibly worse. It's one thing to report news and another to sway public opinion with political based propaganda and unfortunately our news services all do it. I just can't believe how many intelligent people buy into it.

Ugh, I hate the tv news channels... it gets me mad every time I see my dad watching that crap. Which is a lot, sadly. I actually wrote my last paper in AP English about how the media hypes stuff up, with a focus on violence... that paper was way too easy to write... stupid cable new channels....

It's not just a small focus on violence. It's violence all the time. I'm never surprised that in the newspaper, it talks about
1) that guy who killed that girl
2) that guy who killed many girls
3) that baby born in a weird place
4) that guy who killed many girls 20 years ago

I know, I didnt mean that it was a small focus, I just meant that my paper was focused on the violence part of it... because there are one or two other things that get hyped way too much (don't get me started on the media's coverage of the primary's and stuff right now either... grrrr.)

The media is no longer based on facts for the most part. It's now just become a form of entertainment. It always seem to focus in on the most dramatic things possible. It's beginning to remind me of all the other "reality" shows. just in another format.

Unfortunately the so called news is influenced by the owners of the stations. There is little reporting of facts just what reality they want people to see. Kind of like Clinton saying he didn't have sexual relations with Monica because in his reality a BJ isn't sexual relations. It's all about spin.
