My son has decided not to play baseball this year and get totally into football. He says baseball is boring. LOL!
Baseball is boring....communist!!!!

LOL, $20 for registration isn't bad at all.....ah, the joys of California, $75-100!!!

Its so nice to see parents who are supportive and helpful with their kid's interests, thats a rarity these days

We scored, in 8 games, 6 regular games and 2 play-off games, a total of 262 points and the ONLY touchdown scored against us happened tonight.

I'm proud of my boy and all the young men on the team. The coaches are simply top notch, well rounded, devoted fathers of children themselves and they were great to be a part of.

Next year comes Jr. High ball. I gotta get crackin with my son this summer. He's fast enough to be a half back or running back. Has played 2nd string QB, Wide receiver, wing and half back offensively and free saftey/Pass coverage on defense. He even played the line a little tonight when one boy got hurt and did good there too.

It's great having kids that love sports as much as you were hoping they would!!
Congrats! w00t!

So he IS EHS, just JV. I look forward to seeing the JV team move up to varsity. Same thing with Elba, their JV is undefeated as well.

Baseball is fun to watch, I was scorekeeper for PLAS.

At Elba, playing football costed me $0.00. Baseball I believe you had to buy your cleats and that was it.

For those that were wondering, I was born in Lawrenceville GA, moved to Charlotte NC when I was 2. Then I moved down here to Elba AL 4 years ago. I'm on the same dirt road as my dad lived on. Although, when my dad was a kid the dirt road was sand. Anyways, when I moved down here, I went to Zion Chapel HS for about 5 weeks. Yea, the school was THAT BAD that I transfered to Elba HS. Elba HS started off pretty well, but the teachers and administration were screwed up, and school seemed to be falling apart. So starting last year i started going to Pike Liberal Arts School. This school is uber-screwed up, by its my senior year so screw it, might as well graduate here.

EDIT - Quakin, were you riding your bike on HWY 87 Wednesday night? Around 6:15 PM.
