| Pretty much the milder rock or pop any more. Favorite right now is Bowling for Soup's 1985. Last edited by Jokerswild; July 12th, 2008 at 20:31. |

| The only concerts I have been was the ones at Youth for Christ 2008 back in May. Now that was cool. Definitely going again next year to see more concerts! ![]() |

| F Ucn rd dis U mst uzUNIX | I love the late 50's rock. The American Graffiti soundtrack is still my favorite album ever cut...and the movie has just as much to do with it as the Wolfman intros do. The music I've heard, but when I hear Green Onions...my right foot shuffles, the left feathers. George Lucas did well with that entire affair. Still listen to rock, and what was Metal in the late 80's. I like early rap, but it's what would be cheesy now. White lines is a great song, NWA was funny if anything, along with Too Short. Public Enemy, Kool Moe Dee...they had something to say. I just can't get over the ego trip now, so rap is really lost to me. Still listen to Anthrax, Slayer, Megadeth, Pantera...they had a delivery to the word I already agreed with...still do. And of course Satch. Back to the 50's, I still feel Elvis, Cash, and all those guys are rock, and there's not a song I don't like from any of them in any era. Put it on, I'm all ears. I'm only country up to a point, and that's about the late 80's...yet skipping that "when country wasn't cool" pop era it's in now as we speak. I can shift from Megadeth to Haggard just fine. Catch me at night over the mic, and I'm listening to something more cultural. When I kick back and want to think, it's totally different. Gipsy kings, Bocilli, or just some random blues/jazz track on rotation (coltrane!?)...and Holst is my classical metal. My music enjoyment is wide. I love all music, I just don't have to like it :D I have moods, and a USB drive or portable player for all of them. I mean, I wouldn't want country popping up in the rotation on my iRiver while I'm riding bikes. It's just wrong. |
