Let me say this.....

1. The guy is a comedy based web/radio personality. The piece was extremely funny, and did touch on the frustrations many had/are having with Vista. 5 years R&D went into this? seriously, its little more than fluff, with some overzealous security features.

2. On the other hand, I think 99% of the MS hating is unfounded.....If Open source apps, or Mac software was even close to being popular (by that i mean more than a 3-4% market share), then they would face the same security issues as MS. Top that with the Bill and Melinda Gates foundation, the most charitable organization in the world, and its hard to understand all the hate.

I thought it was funny also.
Still have a Vista Ultimate box sitting on top of
my printer. Not sure if I'm even going to bother
with it...I do have a heavy-duty shredder at work....

I wish I could have his license key. All my programs (except for Nero) and hardware are perfectly compatible with Vista.

I am by no mains a MS hater...if anything was a crappy os attempt I would still vote for milinium....I have been running vista for 5 months with ms office 07 and have had no issues. Even that iTunes thing didn't happen to me? (I really think that is a BS story, but thats me)

Just like XP when new, issues pissed off every one. Of course not everyone likes change, due to the problems that follow....oops what did I do now?

Enough of the thread jacking....LOL first time seeing that video....too funny.

Yea, crappy OS award goes to Millennium. I would say that Vista is the hardest one to be compatible with so far. It has its ups and downs and I dont think I will use Vista anytime soon. Ill wait till majority of the software issues are fixed and more programs and drivers are compatible. It like how I would never guy the first generation of a newly designed car... They always make it better the second time around and fix everything that was wrong... almost.

The only complaints I have with Vista is that it moved a bunch of my folders around making me have to search for the frackin things. This video was pretty funny though. As far as Vista goes, I could do without it, but since I've already got it I'll just stick with it. I haven't had any compatability issues.

i can relate to his frustration. i've been using vista exclusively for almost a month now and its not been smooth sailing. i am not able to use my ATI HDTV Wonder card with vista. My Logitech Orbitz web cam is also incompatible. that's about $300 worth of hardware that is not very old but unusable at the moment.
