To confuse myself even more, I just dumped the GF and her kid off at the airport. What does a single guy in San Diego do? Stopped at the pub, had a Guiness and Harps, sat at the Miramar runway and watched jets dog fight until the sunset...Top Gun style, got home, closed the windows, played some Dire Straits at 8, and wondered exactly if this is spontaneity, regression, geekdom, or just plain me. I wouldn't have pondered it if I hadn't responded in this thread!

By the way, it's geekdom, because I reverted to the computer.
Ah Guinness stout. I respect your choice.

As for OCPD, I believe I'm myself suffering from it, if only lightly. Just things I do that are plain weird sometimes. Strangely enough, they're also in the list of OCPD symptoms. :P

If there is a final hour, let's hope for a higher power. One by one, and two by two, I have ammo, what about you?

I flew to San Diego and robbed Boy'n'Black's home the other day, taking minor knick-knacks and replacing good batteries with bad ones.

That is freaking sick and twisted. You had a plan deeper than Beelzebub herself could comprehend.

I've been nagged and nagged about the batteries dying around here for the last...year? Good gawd man, the batteries would bother me...but the constant banshee like whine!? Have I wronged you in a past life?

HAHA
That reminds me of something one of my old roomates used to say all the time.. "Someone broke into my house, stole everything, and replaced them with exact duplicates!"

Which reminds me of something spontaneous I did a while back. When I was a few years into my collegiate career, a friend and I were over at another friends' apartment and they had to leave for a while to do something. So when they left, I suggested we play a prank on them. So we went into their room and, while trying to decide what to take or vandalize, I suggested we "turn the place upside down"... So we did!

We literally flipped everything in the room upside down. The bed, the matress, the dresser, the desk, the pictures, the posters, the chair, the clothes on the floor, the TV, the computer, the curtains on the window. Everything that had a right side was turned to the wrong side. Then we split before they got back and only got nasty looks for the next day.

When I was in College 4 of my friends and I were at a Club on a Thursday night. We ordered Coronas and the Bar Tender told us they were out of Coronas, so one of my buddies blurts out in a drunken out burst I guess we have to go to Mexico to get Corona. Then we started talking about driving to Mexico for the weekend. Next thing I know we were piled in to my buddies Honda Civic driving south on I-5 from Portland. We drove all night and most of the next day. By about 6pm Friday night we were at the Mexican Boarder and by 8pm we were drinking Mexican beer in a bar in Tijuana. We spent Friday and Saturday night bar hopping, and were back on the road on Sunday and in class by Monday morning.

I would rather read a NewEgg review than a [H] review

Actually there was Corona for sale at almost every gas station we stopped at, especially when we got down into California. But it was more about the trip and the experience then actually dinking Corona.
