| BAM-BAM | Another thing tht makes this a good forum is everytime someone asks a question, someone actually answers them. There isnt the berating them for not using the search button. I hate when that happens on other boards. -1 |

| I google most things but sometimes you just can't find what you want or you just want someone elses view on it. Very good point you made about the berating for asking a question, I hate to see that and if it ever happens here you know that whoever does it will be told how things are here, by more than one person I'm sure. |

| That's one reason I left OC Forums...It's not that it happened to me so much (maybe once or twice), but I didn't like seeing someone with a legitimate question get told to use the search button all the time. I think if they thought using "Search" would have helped them, they would've done it. I've Googled things in the past, but a lot of times I just get a lot of vague hits, or links to stuff that has nothing to do with what I'm trying to find out. So, I ask a question. Like it says in my sig, if not for the guys at M.I.T., we might not have HL ![]() If it's not fixed, then don't broke it! |

| I know that on some of the other forums the search will bring up so many items that it would take days to wade through them all. And you probably won't find what you were looking for anyway. There have been times that I've opened my thread (on another forum) with: "I know this has been discussed here but I can't find it in search so....." That way I don't get the usual RTFM's.
