Tom said it perfectly, all I'll add is that I'd rather have a small base of good/honest people then a huge forum of a$$holes.
Although we've had to put a few people on temporary timeouts, we've only had to permanently ban 2 people (knock on wood).
There is nothing wrong with discussion, or debate....its when people take a "know it all" or condescending attitude that I get bothered.
The rules are very clear, there will be no flaming, or rudeness.....and I'm surprised that no one has noticed, but we added "n.e.w.b" "n.o.o.b.", and every other variation to the word censor....no one will be belittled for their knowledge here, thats what the site is all about, getting more people involved with what we love.

Having someone new to computer 'enthusiasm' is exciting and fun. It's like taking my kids out fishing for the first time and guiding them through their first catch. It's gratifying walking someone through a problem or learning new tricks to help me get through mine.
